Sage 50 2009 - Credit Crunching Improvements
The new and improved credit chasing features could be very useful when it comes to managing cash flow; as you can see the Chasing Debt dashboard will show who owes you money. This can be found in the customer’s module.
The Sage Diary is a new module that has been added, this can be used to alert you of important dates, such as promised payment dates.
The Customer Communications Tab keeps a record of documents that have been issued to a customer, such as statements and debtor’s letters, very useful for keeping track of your credit control actions. This tab can be found by selecting a customer then clicking on record.
Credit Facilities Included in all Versions
The following tools can be found in versions of Sage 50 prior to the 2009 release.
Reminder Letters can be found in the customer module under the letter icon. They can be an excellent tool for reminding customers of outstanding payments.
Aged Debtors Reports can be found in the customer module under the reports tab and can be used to highlight customer debt and how long the debt has been outstanding.
Statements can be found in the customer module under the statements tab and are used to inform you customer of outstanding transactions.
Customer Memo Tab can be found in the customer record and is useful for making notes on a customer, such as credit control actions that have taken place.
